Description

 Tarifa is a small town in the most south part of Spain. Driving down from Algeciras to tarifa, you notice something about the area immediately. It's very dry, very hot, and your car is rocking from side to side pushed by the wind. Turning one bend, you face a row of giant hi-techwindmills all turning furiously to generate power, and you start to think, this place must indeed be very windy...

Wind & Weather

 Thanks to the location of Tarifa, the wind blows 90% of the year. The Street of Gibraltar causes an acceleration of the wind, so it can really storm here. And all this with a temperature of 25 °C in summer, and nearly never less than 10 °C in winter.
